The Making of all their videos - Room On The Third Floor
Location: Black Island Studios, Acton, West London.

The McFLY boys stared as figurines from a scale - model kit that comes to life. For the video,
they had to be painted top to toe in blue paint.
Tom: "In the video, we're little models, like Airfix kits and all the parts of our body
come to life. So our hands will start strumming guitars while they're separate from our body. It's really cool."
Harry: "We were painted blue and there was a blank screen behind us so they could do
loads of aminated stuff with it later on. The blue paint was gross. I felt like a smurf."
Danny: "The paint dried hard and glossy. It took me about seventeen showers just to
get it off!"
Tom: "At one point, they told Dougie he was finished and that he could take all the
blue paint off, but after he scrubbed it off, they made him put it all on again. They'd forgotton he had to shoot another
scene! He was gutted!"
Dougie: "I thought the hairgrips were cool. It's a new look I was trying to work, but
I don't think it's going to catch on.
Danny: "We were making fun of each other all day. I took loads of photos on my
phone."
Tom: "Our heads were clamped still and there's one point where my whole
body was clamped to this stand - it was like body scaffolding. Weird!"
Dougie: "We couldn't itch our faces, pick our noses or bite our fingernails...there
was no chance of snogging either. The paint was really irritating as well. It made me go all sweaty and sticky - yuck!"
Danny: "Me and Tom had to wear hairnets - well, I used the bottom of some
tights! I've never worn tights before."
